PLOVORA GUIDES

Verification email testing with the Plovora MCP server

Give your development assistant a controlled mailbox for testing an email verification flow you own or are authorized to test.

  1. 1. Connect with explicit permissions

Open Connected apps after signing in. Follow the instructions for your MCP client and approve the requested scopes. You can revoke a connection from the same page.

  2. 2. Prepare a test address

Use list_addresses to find an active address, or create_address when the connection has address-write permission. Use the returned address_id to keep message and code queries scoped to that test.

  3. 3. Trigger and inspect verification

Trigger the signup in your test system. get_latest_code checks already received mail; wait_for_code waits only for mail received after that call begins. If delivery raced ahead of the wait, check get_latest_code. Use list_messages or get_message when you need to inspect the message.
